LOL, he will seem chill right now, once you see strip #197... >:)
Grab him Coco. He might make a break for it!
He's probably been tempted to do that before he even stepped into the house, LOL.
Guess the answer's, "Not good." Too bad for the boy.
At least he has Coco with him. That usually makes everything better. :)
Aww, poor awkward boy! I'd probably be the same way thought at that type of a dinner. Heh.
LOL, same here, I must admit. And to think, Nicholas once would've been flawless at this, not too long ago!
Poor Nicholas can't seem to shake off the blues. He needs to learn that beauty comes from the inside!
Nicholas doesn't believe he has beautiful insides, though, haha. Since he's always been insecure about everything but his looks, he can't help but think people will hate him with that now tarnished. (He's still confused over Coco wanting to be with him, even!)
Poor Nicholas! I hope he feels less anxious soon!
This is Nicholas, so I'm not sure that's possible! LOL. ;)
First day of school is always rough. And hopefully Coco will pull him through it.
She's doing her best! :)
Poor Nicholas! I had to chuckle a little because I can see myself saying something as awkward as "go make it less empty" just to get out of dinner party conversation. :D
LOL, glad you can relate to it! Believe it or not, this strip was supposed to end in a completely different way. I couldn't draw it well, though, so I came up with this at the last minute...
Poor guy! I'm with Julie, I'd say something like that if I was really nervous and uncomfortable. :)
I came up with that panel at the last minute, since the original wasn't working, so I'm glad it's relatable in some way! :)
What? He can't leave! Parental scrutiny is a right of passage! Forge on, Nicholas!
I don't think he can hear you over all his panic... ;)
